Bodyline Review L066

It is already a long time ago, when I bought my first lolita fashion items from Bodyline. I think it has already been half a year since I got the dress and shoes and somewhat less since I got a fitting petticoat. I didn't have a lot of opportunities to wear it because of the colder weather and because my mom not being THAT supportive of my hobby.
I haven't written this review yet because of that and the fact that this will be ANOTHER Bodyline review. However, I figured this would be a good reason to finally start a lolita fashion blog, which I've wanted since I bought these items and I don't really see a lot of pictures of this dress online, so I hope that this will be helpful for people who want to buy this dress.

BODYLINE L066

So, this dress is available in the colours red, pink and sax blue and sizes M and 2L. Although the pink and the sax blue also look adorable, I chose the red one. As for the sizes, the bust of 2L only goes up to 98 cm, which is my max. So I wouldn't say it's particularly "plus size friendly". It's a bit tight on the shoulders for me, but it doesn't look painfully tight on me. It's an A-line dress and the dress is supposed to be longer than the petticoat, so that the lower part of the dress drops down a bit.

On the site it says that the dress is "polyester others", which made me worry that the dress would be shiny and would look cheap, but this wasn't really the case. The dress is a tad shiny, but that is only if you really focus on the dress. It doesn't look that cheap, even though the fabric isn't as soft as it would've been if they'd used a softer fabric.
The lace on the dress is crotchet lace and it looks nice, there are little to no loose threats on it and it's not itchy at all. The lace goes around the collar twice around the bodice and around the bottom.
The only loose threats I found were around the buttons on the bodice. You can button down the bodice: they are real buttons. The buttons are made of the the same plaid fabric as the rest of the dress. The colours on the plaid are, yellow, black, blue and white. The waist ties aren't detachable, which is normal for Bodyline.

That's it!! Please tell me if you have more questions and if you want to see more pictures of parts of the dress, it was a bit windy when we took pictures so It might not be the best way to see the shape of the dress.
